The Independent Tree Expert Group is pursuing an effective combination of examination procedures for tree safety checks. Using an open approach, not limited to certain methods, and interlocking of much visual and technical information allow for a comprehensive assessment of trees.
SIA/WESSOLLY- VTA/MATTHECK and others as supported by established instrument engineering form the basis for reliable, objective tree examinations by Independent Tree Expert Group experts.
A specifically developed online platform for the evaluation of stability of trees, Tree Stability Evaluation (TSE), is available for the Independent Tree Expert Group experts. The program collects measurement results of tensile tests conducted according to WESSOLLY’s method and evaluates tree safety in proportion to the estimated wind load.
