Training for Experts
Integrated action is the key for tree statics examinations of the future. The corresponding requirements are comprehensive knowledge about analysis methods and purposeful action.
The Independent Tree Expert Group provides intensive methodology training courses where experts can learn to conduct tensile tests to evaluate tree stability and tree safety.
Contents of the ITEG tensile test training:
- Basics of tree statics, influencing factors of wind loads on trees
- Tensile test measurement equipment and its correct usage
- Planning and execution of tensile tests, safety aspects
- Wind load estimation
- Calculation of breakage safety and tree stability using the TSE calculation program
Persons entitled to participate are those having an appropriate professional qualification (European Tree Technician, agronomist specialised in tree care, or similar) and having additionally several years of practical experience in tree care and tree assessment.
